Four Part Emotional Intelligence Series : September - December

Leadership today requires more than expertise, strategy, and execution.

The most effective leaders know how to navigate uncertainty, manage their reactions, build trust, communicate clearly, and create environments where others can do their best work.

These are emotional intelligence skills.

Research consistently shows that emotional intelligence is one of the strongest predictors of leadership effectiveness, collaboration, resilience, and team performance.

Yet many leaders are expected to develop these capacities on their own.

This series offers something different.

Through four immersive learning experiences, we'll explore emotional intelligence as a practice to embody.

No slide-heavy webinars.

No passive learning.

Just meaningful experiences, practical tools, thoughtful reflection, and real conversations that help move insight into action.

Experiencing Emotional Intelligence: A Fall Four-Part Series

This fall, The Experience Studio is offering a four-part series on emotional intelligence, one of the most researched and impactful leadership competency.

Each 2-hour experiential online session focuses on a distinct pillar of emotional intelligence work: knowing yourself, managing yourself, understanding others, and working with others more effectively.

Rooted in a variety of inspiring, research-backed frameworks and delivered through the Experience Studio's signature hands-on experiential approach, this emotional intelligence series builds progressively, yet each session also stands on its own. Join some or join for all four! Either way, you'll leave with something you can actually use and apply in your personal and professional life. We use the term leadership very broadly, so no matter what your role or job description, this series is for you.

EI Series Part II: Working with Self

Emotional Intelligence Series Part 2: Working with Self

Focus: Emotional Balance and Self-Regulation

Knowing what you feel is one thing, however, being able to stay present when those feelings suddenly intensify is another.

This session is about the gap between awareness and reaction, and what it takes to close it and respond more intentionally. We'll explore how stress shows up in the body and behavior, what emotional regulation actually looks like in practice, and how balance (not suppression) is what allows leaders to think clearly, and bring out the best in themselves and ultimately the people around them.

This session explores how to develop the kind of internal stability that lets you respond thoughtfully instead of just reacting — even under pressure, even in uncertainty, even when things don't go as planned.

You'll walk away with grounding techniques, strategies for navigating stress responses, and a new relationship with the moments that used to knock you sideways. The goal isn't to feel less, but to be less at the mercy of what you feel.

This session builds upon Session 1 in the series but still works as standalone. 2 hours | Virtual | Highly Interactive.

EI Series Part III: Understanding Others

Emotional Intelligence Series Part 3: Understanding Others

Focus: Empathy and Organizational Awareness

The leaders who people trust most share something in common: they actually listen. Not only to the words, but they listen deeply to what's underneath them.

This session explores the topics of empathy and organizational awareness with the ability to read what's happening in a room, tune into how people are really feeling, and respond in ways that are attuned to what the moment requires. We'll also look at the bigger picture: the emotional climate of teams, the invisible dynamics that shape group behavior, and how systems carry their own kind of mood.

Through perspective-taking exercises and experiential practice, you'll strengthen your ability to be genuinely present and connected with others at times when they need it most.

The leaders who earn deep trust rarely have more answers. They have more presence.

This session builds on Sessions 1 and 2 in the series, but is still accessible as a standalone session.

2 hours | Virtual | Highly Interactive

EI Series Part IV: Working With Others

Emotional Intelligence Series Part 4: Working with Others

Focus: Relationship Management and Collaboration

This final session is about how emotional intelligence shows up in the actual work of leading and working with others: positively influencing and inspiring others to lead in new ways, managing conflict without eroding trust, and creating the conditions where people can genuinely collaborate.

We'll work with real relational dynamics, not hypotheticals. Through hands-on practical experiences and honest reflections, you'll develop a more flexible toolkit for the moments that test you: when tensions are high, when alignment is hard to find, or when the relationship itself needs tending.

The quality of your relationships determines the quality of your leadership. This session is about raising your signature standard for both.

This session builds on Sessions 1, 2, and 3 in the series, but is still accessible as a standalone session.

2 hours | Virtual | Highly Interactive
